Five confirmed games matching your filters are required for a rank. Seasons run July 1–June 30; future-dated results do not count. Fewer games show as provisional. This covers contributing competitions, not every Canadian player; it is a statistical index, not a scouting evaluation or governing-body ranking.
The record starts with real games.
No eligible confirmed stats in this cohort yet. Organizers can create a results workspace, submit an official competition source, and confirm complete player stat sheets.
How the index is calculated
Production: points + 1.2 × rebounds + 1.5 × assists + 2 × steals + 2 × blocks − turnovers, with a minimum of zero.
Competition context: multiply each game’s production by 0.9 + 0.2 × the opponent’s smoothed win rate in that competition, excluding that game. The smoothed rate is (wins + 2) ÷ (games + 4), giving a neutral 1.0× factor when no other results exist.
Confirmed competition levels: compare performances against A, A+, AA, AA+, AAA or AAA+ opponents using the level filter. These are organizer-confirmed classifications captured with each confirmed game. Unconfirmed labels do not qualify for a level-specific comparison. Level labels do not add an automatic bonus to the index.
Evidence adjustment: average the adjusted production, then multiply by confirmed games ÷ (confirmed games + 5). Larger samples reduce uncertainty. At least five confirmed games are needed to receive a rank.
This first model uses within-competition results. It does not assume that equal records in different leagues mean equal competition strength, and does not assign unverified league prestige or scouting grades. Minutes, shooting efficiency and unrecorded defensive impact are not measured by this index. Equal index values share a rank.
